Performance shops, tuners and specialist workshops have an advantage most businesses do not: the customer sitting in your waiting area is already interested in driving. A simulator is not a random perk in that context, it is the obvious one.
It also gives your staff something to talk to a customer about that is not the invoice, which is worth more than it sounds.
